Michał Wojasiński MSc Eng.

I graduated at Warsaw University of Technology the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering with specialty called Biomedical Processes and Products.

Since I remember, I’ve been always concentrated on gathering knowledge and trying to understand how the World works. When I started my studies at Warsaw University of Technology I was trying to find a way to help people who are sick or were victims of traumatic accidents. Those reasons helped me to find and join the Laboratory of Biomedical Engineering, where I’ve started my doctorate studies in 2011. In my work I try to use my theoretical knowledge in order to find out solutions for practical problems.

I have begun my work in BioMedLab with design and production of nanofibrous structures by electrospinning, and with looking for potential applications for those designed structures in biomedical engineering.

Now, I am PhD Candidate in Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering in Warsaw University of Technology and I work in BioMedcial Engineering Laboratory. Still, my main field of interest are nanofibers, however I developed system for new method of nanofibers production: solution blow spinning. Also, I found interesting the process of hydroxyapatite nanoparticles formation - inorganic compound of bones.
